Pirelli reveals tyres for season run-in

Pirelli has revealed its tyre nominations for Abu Dhabi, the USA and Brazil, the final three grands prix of the season.

Formula 1′s tyre supplier announced it will bring its soft and medium compounds to Abu Dhabi, the 18th of this year’s 20 rounds.

For the inaugural US Grand Prix at the newly-constructed Austin circuit it will offer its medium and hard tyres.

Pirelli labelled the selection “relatively conservative”, insisting it would “make sure that all possibilities are covered.”

For the Interlagos season finale it will bring the same two compounds.

Brazil will mark the fifth time this year that drivers will use the medium and hard tyres, after Malaysia, Spa, Monza and Austin.
