Earnhardt Jr. triggers 12-car wreck in Daytona drafting

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The first foray into pack drafting with the new Gen 6 car went horribly awry Friday as a dozen cars were collected in a crash at Daytona International Speedway.

The melee started when Dale Earnhardt Jr. was trying to bump draft with Marcos Ambrose on the back straightaway. Ambrose turned right into the wall and spun across the track, triggering a pileup that also included notable drivers Brad Keselowski, Jamie McMurray, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Jeff Gordon, Aric Almirola and Carl Edwards. - Read Full Story at USAToday.com
