Coletti keeps Rapax seat for 2013
Stefano Coletti will stay on with Rapax for the 2013 GP2 season.
The 23-year-old from Monaco switched to Rapax for the final two rounds of 2012 after splitting with Coloni.
“Rapax has shown that it is an excellent place for a young driver to work and I intend to make the most of this opportunity,” said Coletti.
Rapax managing director Andrea Bergamini said he had been chasing Coletti for some time before they joined forces from Monza this year.
“We followed him since the start of his GP2 Series career and, when the chance to run him in the last two rounds of the 2012 championship came, we decided to go for it,” said Bergamini.
“The decision to keep working together for 2013 was a natural consequence of the relationship.”
Coletti is going into his third full year of GP2. He won two races with Trident in 2011 before a difficult ’12 campaign.
